Chromecast with Google TV no longer turns on

My chromecast with Google tv no longer turns on when pressing the power button. The only way I can get it to turn back on is to unplug it and reset. This is somewhat difficult because it’s behind the mounted tv. At first I was just having audio issues but now it won’t even turn on with out a reset. Before buying a new one I wanted to see if anything could be done.

I just bought one (4k) and it is exhibiting the same behavior as this. I can use Google to turn on my TV through HDMI-CEC but the tv thinks nothing is plugged into the source, the power button on the remote does nothing for the chromecast to turn it on. I need to unplug and re-plug to get it to work, on occasion after boot up wi-fi and Bluetooth act weird, or apps won't work properly until;; another manual "restart" through the Chromecast menu. I'm going to try a factory reset although annoying seeing I just got it all set up only 1-2 weeks ago!

I’m sorry to know about what’s happening and for the late response. I wanted to check if you still need assistance with your Chromecast with Google TV 4K device? Have you tried plugging it in a different TV to isolate if the issue happens on a specific TV?
