Chromecast crashes And doesnt appear in Google home

My chromecast crashed randomly when i was watching something. When i tried to reinstate the basic settings, it got deleted in my google home app. When i try to add the device to my home app, the chromecast doesn’t show up And it keeps flikkering white/orange. Anybody here to the rescue?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device are you using? Is this working properly before? If so, when did it start? What steps have you taken?

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

Move it to a different HDMI port on the TV.
Move it to a different power source.
Reboot both the Chromecast device and the TV.
Reinstall the Google Home app.
Ensure that Bluetooth, Location Services, and Local Network (for iOS) are on/enabled.
Do a factory reset and re-setup.
