Why do I have to be on the same network eg. 2.4 or 5 WIFI when the TV I'm casting to is hardwired. It is the same network. Really aggravating because my TV or Pixel 7 Pro don't connect to just one it uses both so I have to lookup which 1 its using then which 1 mu phone is using when i shouldn't have to with the TV on Cat6.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. What Chromecast device are you using? It matters because depending on the Chromecast device that you use, it may be capable of remembering multiple networks or have the capability to switch networks. What steps do you take to make it work? I look forward to your response.
