ESPN+ with Chromecast - an error has occurred

I can't cast to any of my chromecasts including first second and ultra using ESPN+ app. Any ideas?

I get the message, "an error has occurred please try again"

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience on this! Were you able to fix that ESPN+ issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know that error message is pretty vague. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
Have you tried clearing out the app data, or reinstalling the app?
Does this error occur on any other app?
Does this issue occur when casting from another device?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
