Blinking orange when TV is powered up

Hi I have 2 Chromecast ultras. Bothe behave the same when plugged into my bedroom TV. As soon as the TV is powered up (from the mains socket switch) the device start blinking orange. This has only just happened I have tried different power supplies for the ultras and different hdmi ports with no success.

Given the commonality it appears to be the TV. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue.

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out.

A few questions: is the Chromecast plugged correctly into the TV and power source? What can you see on the TV when it’s powered on? Have you already tried to factory reset it?

Hi the Chromecast is plugged in correctly to the hdmi and power source. I have tried a factory reset. The device powers up normally when not plugged into the hdmi as soon as I plug it into the hdmi then the device starts blinking orange.

Understood. Pulsing orange happens during the update process. Chromecast is receiving an update and is not available to cast content. It will be available for use shortly. Please do not disconnect the device from power.
