Can’t cast from iPhone and showing offline in Home app

Hello,

I have a Kogan Android Smarter TV (Model AI Pont) with Chromecast built in.

It connects to my Wifi Network which is the same Wifi Network my IPhone is connected to, but shows as offline on the Google Home App and I also cannot cast from my iPhone to the TV. It used to work fine but now it doesn’t. I have tried fa Tory resetting tv, software update, reboot wifi router, delete app and re-download and reset my iPhone, I have the local network settings on the phone turned to “on” and no luck.

it also wont find the TV if I try to set it up as a new device instead of trying to connect to the previously set up device.

Please help!!!

I have the same problem

this happened after updating to android 12

and nobody helped to solve this problem

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Have you reached out to Kogan about this? After all, this is an Android TV with a built-in Chromecast, and the Chromecast part is just for casting. This is completely different from a Chromecast with Google TV, hardware and software-wise. I strongly suggest that you contact Kogan or give our friends at the Android TV Help Community a shout. Let us know how it goes.
