Chromecast Bluetooth Not Working

Chromecast Bluetooth doesn't see Bluetooth earbuds that are visible to other devices. It sees neither a pair of cheap Lenovos or Galaxy buds pro. Other devices see them but Chromecast just keeps searching with no results. I tried a factory reset and nothing changed.

This isn't the first time I've had problems with bluetooth connections but at least a factory reset worked in the past. I'm astonished that a company the size of Google would release something this buggy. So is the fix throw it in the garbage and avoid Google products?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Chromecast with Google TV can be paired with certain Bluetooth devices (speakers, game controllers, etc.), but not all. For now, kindly ensure that your Chromecast device and Bluetooth device have updated firmware and test them. If it still fails to detect it, I suggest you send feedback via Google TV settings > Help and Feedback.
