I have tried with extenders from 1 feet till 6 feet

It seems Internet WIFI is not picked up. And when it's barely picked up, HDMI signal degrades and it's able to send lower signal (like just 1080p HD) to TV,

I couldn't find any documentation stating HDMI extensions supported or not.

Are we talking about HDMI extend cables or WiFi network repeaters?

HDMI cables have nothing to do with WiFi signal.

If you need a HDMI cable of certain length, do not use longer than needed cables. Just make sure the cable has at least HDMI version 2.0 high speed certification with networking and supports the UHD resolution over the distance needed (between 0.5 - 5 meters).

If you need to send the audio-video on longer distances a HDMI repeater box with signal amplification is needed.

If you have problems with the WiFi signal move the WiFi router closer to the device, if possible, or use high quality WiFi network repeater.

If your main router has gigabit LAN output ports you can use another WiFi router with gigabit Lan inputs to enhance the WiFi network signal or a powered USB-C hub with gigabit LAN input or a LAN to USB adapter.

HDMI cable. I know it should not interfere with WIFI signal. But the interference is there, just with a 0.5 feet HDMI cable. When I remove the cable and connect CCGTV directly, the problem goes away. Every single time.

I am also unlucky when I connect to the back HDMI ports on the TV (vs the one on the side). It doesn't matter if I move my wifi repeater close to the TV. So there must be some inferences here.

Use a better quality HDMI cable with shielding.

This is not normal.

In my setup, the Chromecast with Google TV is connected to HDMI switch input and from the HDMI switch output a 1.5 meter HDMI cable (QED Performance Ultra High Speed) runs to the TV. I have no problems.

If you have an AV receiver you can try to connect the Chromecast device to its input and then run the same HDMI cable you have right now to the TV. If you encounter the same problems, it is clear that the cable is the culprit.

Have you tried to play a 4k video from YouTube and manually select the quality to 4k? What resolution arrives to the TV?

Have you checked the Chromecast display settings?
