Why does my receiver switch from AV1 to Audio 1 when I hit home button on Chromecast remote?

Have Chromecast plugged into TV and audio optical cord into Yamaha receiver AV1 port (optical) . When I hit home on Chromecast remote, receiver switched to Audio 1.....?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Have you paired the Chromecast Voice remote to the AVR? Does it control the TV and the Chromecast device with no issues? Try to perform a sequence power cycle (TV, AVR, Chromecast device). If it persists, try to forget the AVR among the devices paired with the remote. If you can, let’s disconnect the AVR and keep the Chromecast device and TV connection alone. If both Audio and Video play on the TV with no issues, then the issue is isolated to the AVR. Let us know how it goes.
