Chromecast with Google TV (HD) Stutter on lIve stream

I have two Chromecast with Google TV (HD) and both of them at the same time since 2 weeks ago, started to Stutter when using Live stream Apps.

I have tested live stream connection in my LG TV withouth Problems.

Changed Wifi, problem maintains only on Google TV Chromecast, Change Screen Hz definition, nothing is working.

Can you advice?

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Is this only for live streaming? Or has this also affected other apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc.? It could be server- or DNS-related. Try to disconnect from Wi-Fi and connect to your phone’s mobile hotspot. Let me know how it goes.

Its basically on all apps in my case. Sutter on Disney+, Prime and IPTV.

I have already changed routers change internet provider (DNS are change on this try), factory reset, and today I tested a different android tv box, and this box don't have any problem.

So my conclusion is performance issues on the goggle tv HD Chromecast.

I already tried hotspot happened the same. This always happens on live stream. Netflix apps etc they are fine. Server is ok, tested on several different devices, only happened on Chromecast in 2 weeks before it worked perfectly

Stream starts very well after 4 seconds always the hiccups which never happened before just 3 weeks ago

hello Mauro Something has been done on the part of google. Many people still don't realize why on vacation they have IPTV turned off but when they come back there will be a lot of criticism google made a mistake

In my case I use IPTV a lot as I have way to pass the cables. So fast solution IPTV.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the July patch package. My Chromecast 4 HD doesn't notice them and doesn't detect anything. The problem has not been fixed.

I think they still haven't released the update for the HD version only at 4k

Thanks for the reply. The Android TV OS build STTE.230319.008.H1 is intended for Chromecast with Google TV 4K. But there’s also a July patch sent for the HD version. Try to factory reset your devices one more time, and let’s see if it’s forced. Keep us posted.

I didn't receive the update on any device, I already did the reset and nothing 10 devices didn't receive an update
