No sound on cast programs

Dear all

I have a tried and failed to cast with sound. The picture is fine, but nothing is being broadcast on the sound side. I have restarted TV, rebooted Chromecast, unplugged and replugged the Chromecast. Now at a loss what to do.

I am real sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that sound issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out! I understand that casting video is not very helpful without being to hear it! Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
Are you using a soundbar?
Does this occur on one app, or many?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
