Ambient mode stops working

We have Google Photos set display in ambient mode which had been working fine for a while. Recently ambient mode stopped kicking in automatically. Even when I manually initiate ambient mode, after some time, it goes back to displaying the default Home Screen.

Hi dypdyp,

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. Try to do these steps:

Unplug Chromecast with Google TV 4K device from the power and HDMI port.
Unplug your TV from the power outlet for a minute > Plug back in.
Plug Chromecast with Google TV 4K device to the power and HDMI port.
Set the Ambient mode again.
