I have a strange problem. Everything worked fine, I've been using my Chromecast for a year without any issue, but the other day I did something (I don't know what) and now the volume is too high. It's stuck there. The strange thing is that when I turn down the volume, the line and the numbers go down, but the volume doesn't turn down. Even when it's 0, the volume is still too high. Can you help me? Thank you.

Hi PeterCanthropus,

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out. Have you already done any troubleshooting steps? If not, give these steps a try:

Unplug the Chromecast with Google TV 4K device from the power and HDMI port.

Unplug the TV from the power outlet for a minute > Plug back in.

Plug back the Chromecast with Google TV 4K device on the power and HDMI port.

Try to control the volume.

If the issue persists, go to the home screen of your Chromecast with Google TV.

Choose Settings > System > About > System update.

Regards,
Alex
