I have a chromecast and remote from 2022 (I don't know what generation it is?). The remote turns my tv on and off, and the volume works - but it won't work in navigating the menu. I've tried new batteries and tried unplugging the chromecast, any advice?

It won't navigate the Chromecast menu or the TV menu? The Chromecast remote does not control much of the TV, just power, volume and inputs.

The chromecast menu- i.e. where all my apps are, and the voice command is no longer working. It was working up until yesterday (I've had the tv for a few years now).

Do you remember if you are controlling the TV through IR or CEC? If it is IR then maybe the remote is no longer paired to your Google TV. There is a phone remote control inside the Google TV phone app. Try using that to see if you can pair the remote to your Google TV.
