I have purchased two of the Chromecast with Google TV devices in the last 2 years. One works perfectly and the other has an issue with the remote constantly draining batteries. Much similar to this person's post:

I've done everything that was mentioned in the post, checked to see if the IR light was constantly on (its not), but I have to change batteries in this remote every 2 weeks (or less). I've reset the remote to factory settings, used more expensive batteries.. and it's becoming costly. Any suggestions?
