have internitent sound drop issues.. but video keeps playing

i have tried..

cable inputs

power to chromecast

the wiffi and internet are updatented new components

any setting i have adjusted through chromcast and reciever involving changing suround stettings have failed..

i have exhasuted all forum searches and it is promting me to create my own ticket

right now the system is

sony str revieving chromchast and sending video archdmi to samsung smart tv unit

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Since you’ve already tried the ideal approach to troubleshooting this (switching cables and ports, rebooting devices, etc.), could you try a factory reset for a full clean-up? Also, let’s try to isolate it by removing the Sony STR ZA3100ES from the connection and directly connecting it to the HDMI port of your Samsung Smart TV. Let us know how it goes.
