Disabling talkback on Chromecast has no effect

This is so **bleep**ing retarded. Choosing platform? The platform is a **bleep**ing Chromecast I bought from Google. So I chose web browser since Google is apparently retarded.

Im unable to turn off the **bleep** chromecast from talking to me. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THIS BITCH SPEAKING. Disabling talkback does absolutely nothing. Turning volume all the way down does nothing. WHY IS GOOGLE FORCING THE TALKING BUG? YES BUG THIS **bleep** IS NOT A FEATURE.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. The TalkBack feature is intended for users with disabilities who want to use the product. You can enable or disable it via Settings > System > Accessibility > TalkBack. Sometimes, users might get confused between the TalkBack and the Text to Speech feature. Both are under the Accessibility option in Settings. If after turning these off you’re still experiencing the issue, try a factory reset for a full clean-up, then set it up from scratch. Let us know how it goes.
