Chromecasting ROH stream to Sony TV from Samsung S14

When trying to view a Royal Opera House Stream the title band and the time band remain on the screen, do not disappear. The title window shows "object Object" beside the title. The problem doesn't appear with any Utube stream. ROH help says the problem is with Chromecast

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device do you have connected to your TV? Is this isolated to the ROH app only? Does it play the content despite having those issues?

If all other apps are working fine, then this is isolated to the app itself, especially if it even plays the content. You can try to do a factory reset for a full clean-up, then set it up from scratch to see if it helps. We look forward to your response.

Hi, device is chromecast , I believe 2nd generation. The problem is with ROH app only. The content plays . The problem remains after a factory reset.

Thanks for the reply. Since this is a Chromecast 2nd Gen, there’s no option for adjustment that can be done directly from the device. If it’s the content, it knows that it’s already doing its job. All other apps are casting just fine. There might be settings on that app that can be tweaked. Coordinate with the app developer on what can be done.
