Issues with Chromecast with Google TV while trying to play in multi room mode

Hi all!

I have 3 Google smart devices (the Chromecast, Google home mini and a Nest hub)
I used to be able to play music in all devices simultaneously but at some point it stopped working.

So now they all work as normal separately but only the Google home mini and the Nest hub can play music simultaneously, the Chromecast can only cast alone(music or video).

I tried to tinker with the setting and nothing helped..

I also tried to:

* Factory reset the Chromecast, Nest and Google home

* Factory reset my home router

I really don't know what else to try

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Mikechn,

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Since the devices are working as intended individually, it can be network-related (LAN communication). Let’s try to isolate it this way:

Disconnect both your Chromecast with Google TV and Google Nest Hub from Wi-Fi.
Connect both devices to your phone’s mobile hotspot.
Initiate a voice command from the Google Nest Hub to play an audio or music app to the speaker group (it should play on both devices).
