Google TV remote white light keeps pulsing

The white light on the remote keeps pulsing. I tried everything: replaced the batteries, tried to reset it with the home button and home+back buttons, I tried to pair it through settings but it does not connect. What else can I do?

I’m sorry to hear about what’s happening on your Chromecast Voice Remote. Let’s further look into it. If the LED is slowly pulsing in white, the remote is ready to pair. I wanted to confirm if this is how you factory reset the Chromecast Voice Remote?

Factory reset the Chromecast device as well, then Set up Chromecast with Google TV and Voice Remote. Let me know how it goes.
