Setting up a chromecast

Trying to set up a chromecast but it keeps telling me I'm using an invalid password for the wifi.It is for sure the correct password.this is a new. Never before used Comcast unit.

Ja18, let's get this sorted out. Are you using a private or a shared Wi-Fi connection? If private, is your router dual-band? On which band are you trying to connect your Chromecast with Google TV (HD) device? Do you have a spare phone or tablet?

Try these steps:

Reboot the router for 2 mins.
Turn off and on Wi-Fi settings on your phone > Forget and reconnect to the Wi-Fi.
Factory reset your Chromecast with Google TV (HD) device once more.
Set up. Chromecast with Google TV is compatible with both 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi networks and 5 GHz networks. However, it's recommended to connect to 5 GHz networks for better performance.
If the issue persists, try using another setup device. If it is still the same, continue the setup using the remote instead of the Google Home app.
