Movie playback hangs when connecting bluetooth headpones on the app SVT play

Problem reproduction

1. I start my TV, chromecast and the SVT Play app (swedish broadcast)

2. I start a movie in the SVT app (I have tried several different movies)

3. I connect my bluetooth headphones (Microsoft Surface 2)

4. Once the headphones are connected via bluetooth to chromecast the movie stops, the screen just freezes.

5. I cannot restart the movie while the headphones are connected.

6. Once I disconnect the headphones (turn them off) the movie starts playing again

Note 1. I have tried all sorts of movies, same problem

Note 2. The problem does not exist for non movies in the SVT app, like news broadcast.

Note 3. I have only seen problem with the SVT Play app

Note 4. No problem seen with other apps like Youtube or TV4

Note 5. I have tried to restart chromecast, tv, router, no improvement

note 6. I have the latest chromcast software updates.

I wonder: Could the problem be related to movies having some specific video codec protocol or license in combination with the SVT Play app?

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Based on your description, it seems that the issue is isolated to this SVT Play app. Kindly try this approach. Instead of connecting the Bluetooth device midway, try to connect it at the beginning before you play any content from that app. Let us know how it goes.
