Hey guys, I just purchased my Ccwggtv. As I was setting it up I quickly noticed that whenever I used the volume up button on the remote it would raise my TV's volume to 44 (I have a TCL no soundbar) and there is no middle ground between muted and 44. For reference I usually listen to my tv on 18. I've messed around with the settings to no avail. If anyone has any ideas I would be more than grateful

I had similar issues when using CEC -

I finally disabled it on my CC, TV, and soundbar.

Note: I suggest powering EVERYTHING OFF after disabling CEC before going further. It "seems" some devices continue sending commands via CEC until they restart.

I tried every configuration I could think of to get CEC working, but I always encountered nasty side effects. The audio volume escalating to ridiculous levels. Audio formats changing or audio dropping out.

Several times I have tried re-enabling CEC. I even thought I had it all working. Within a day, the volume would go crazy, or the audio would begin toggling formats or cutting in and out. For my blood pressure's sake, I have admitted defeat and left it off.

I loved having my system automatically turn on with the morning news, and power off when I left the house - but, . . . I'll leave that battle to someone else.

Good luck!
