topic No sounds 5.1 sound with DLNA in Streaming

My CCwGTV is connected to my AVR, surround sound with Netflix, Disney+ works fine.

I have a DLNA disc connected to my router, with some files that are .mkv using H264 and AC3, in the chromecast using VLC, Kodi or MX Player, with or without passthrough my AVR only sees stereo coming from the chromecast.

The only way I've managed to have the surround was using Serviio to transconde the whole file, but this requires my computer to be on.

I was under the impression that these files should be compatible with CCwGTV. Is it because it's not a local file? (Using SMB gave the same result...)

Thanks
