&lt;P&gt;Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. If the option vanishes and requires a reboot to restore, this could be a communication failure via HDMI connection. Try switching to a different HDMI port, or if possible, test it on another capable TV. Rebooting the TV also helps. If it persists after trying all of these, do a full clean-up by performing a&lt;A href="https://goo.gle/3AgAaiR" target="_blank"&gt; factory reset&lt;/A&gt; on the Chromecast device.&lt;/P&gt;
