Can't connect any music service.

When I go to Google Home -> Music -> Music Services, I can't see anything, but YouTube. I want to connect my Spotify account to my Google account but I can't. Please help me somebody 😭😭😭

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Is this the first time you will link your Spotify account to Google Home? What country are you in?

Hi Alex,

Im in Russia rn but i tried use VPN. I never connected it before, but before it when i say something like, play "..." on Chromecast, it was opening Spotify, now Google use YT always, so i don't like it😥

I understand. Russia is yet to be fully supported, so some features may or may not work using Google Home. To confirm, are you using a Chromecast with Google TV 4K device? If yes, is your Spotify account linked to the TV?

Thanks 🥹 for answering, yep, Chromecast 4k, device Google Pixel 5 if its matter, yep i have Spotify on TV with my account. But i cant turn on anything by voice 😞

It’s a pleasure to assist you. What exactly happens if you ask Google Assistant using your Chromecast Voice Remote to play music on Spotify?

I just ask to play music, before some time Spotify opens, but now just music from YouTube. Something like "play "Name of playlist" on Chromecast". Music starts but its so bad to listen from YouTube 😥

Hello there,

Let’s further look into it. Using your Chromecast Voice Remote, press the Google Assistant button and say “Play [song] on Spotify.” Does it work? If not, do the steps below:

Uninstall and reinstall Spotify on Google TV.
Unplug the TV and the Chromecast with Google TV device for 2 minutes > Plug back in.
Sign in to your Spotify account, then ask it to play music on Spotify again.
