Solving Chromecast 4k sluggish issue

I was having issues with the chromecast 4k being unresponsive and sluggish when using the remote, but I solved the issue by extending the hdmi cable at the back of the TV with a joiner for $10NZ so that the chromecast dongle wasnt behind the TV anymore. It appears that some TVs interfere with the chromecast remotes' signal to the dongle through the TV. My dongle is now beside the TV and the problem was solved.
