Chromecast remote - unlisted TV brand

Hi,

I have a Fujicom TV, which is not in the list of brands provided for pairing the remote.

I saw there where previous Qs on that, just can't find the replies.

Which brand to choose? Or how to pair?

CEC - Consume Electronics Control

On your TV it may be named HDMI control.

What Fujicom TV model it is?

Can't say which model. I need to dismantle to see the back. But it was connected to chromecast 2 before, and it worked OK. The remote for model 3 works , only the power and volume are inoperable,

You don't need to dismantle the TV, just to look in the TV settings for information about its model.

What settings do you have for the power and volume buttons on your Chromecast with Google TV?

What other selectable option do you have listed for these buttons?

I don't have any functions assigned to the power and volume buttons. Netflix ,Youtube and all other buttons work OK.

Under Power button, do you have the option to select Auto (CEC) or TV (CEC)?

Hey there Hagai,

One thing you can do if your particular brand of TV isn't one of the options is to use a different brand that uses the same remote codes. You can find a few lists online, so try to find one with the same numbers and give that a try.

Hi, I have the same issue with my Fujicom TV. I couldn't find the suitable code to work well with me TV. Any other suggestions?

You can contact Fujicom Israel and ask them if their infrared codes are similar to other brands of TVs.

Hi,

found a table for all brands TV codes (published by Partner in Israel). Tried to match (using Fujicom codes with brands with same code) with limited success.

Ended with only volume buttons paired as Hisense.

It looks like Haggai was able to find a temporary solution, so I'm locking the thread. When it comes to the Chromecast with Google TV not having your specific brand of television, I would recommend that you submit feedback via Google TV to let Google know you'd like to see support in the future
