Unable to setup JVC tv control

Hi,

I've had no luck setting up the TV control with my new Chromecast. Both the device and the remote are fully updated, CEC enabled on the tv, still no joy.

I have followed the instructions in the below topic, and removed my device 4 times and still not able to control the volume or inputs.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. In that thread, it wasn’t confirmed if the suggested approach worked. There are hundreds and thousands of TV models from different manufacturers around the world. Even if not listed, some of these follow a particular standard. What you can try is trial and error to determine which brand or model may work. You can also search online for forums about users of these TVs who found workarounds for getting them to work. But the possibility of incompatibility can’t be denied. Even most universal remote controls fail to control every brand and model, and the Chromecast Voice remote itself is not a universal remote control. Let us know if you still have questions.
