Hi there, I bought a chrome cast specifically in the hopes I could watch a sporting event from a website and access training videos from an online course I am taking. How do I do this please? I have downloaded google home and tv cast. TV is set up with google home but tv cast cannot connect to tv

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. What Chromecast device do you have connected to your TV? If this is the version with Google TV, I suggest you install the app version of that website, if it has one. If it doesn’t have an installable app version, then you can cast it instead. From a laptop or computer, you can cast using the Chrome browser. Just click the 3 dots from the upper right and scroll down to click Save and Share; from there, you’ll find the Cast option at the bottom. But if you’re using a smartphone or a tablet, you can’t use the Chrome browser app. Unless that website you want to view has a mobile app version, you may need to rely on the Chrome browser on your computer.
