&lt;P&gt;Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Based on your description, it seems that your Chromecast device is working as intended since you were able to cast using your iPhone. You just need to ensure that your Macbook Air is connected to the same network or bandwidth (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz). Make sure that you are using the most up-to-date Google Chrome browser. To cast from Chrome, just click the 3 dots from the upper right and scroll down to click Save and Share; from there, you’ll find the Cast option at the bottom.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I just purchased a cromecast cable which i set it up into my Tv, JVC Tv. the cast is opening into my tv and it has connected to my iPhone, unfortunately from my Mc Air i am not able to connect, my laptop doesn't find the device.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you kindly assist me?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
