Connecting Chromecast to Google nest

Hello!

I have a chromecast which is attached to monitor so I use it as TV. And also I have a Google Nest. I am wondering if I can somehow connect Google nest to monitor or Chromecast so that the sound that is coming from monitor right now will be from Google nest.

I tried to link them in the app, but nothing worked..

Hi Evgenia,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. The Google Nest speakers and/or displays don't support being a slave speaker or soundbar for Chromecast with Google TV. These smart speakers are home automation devices first, and speakers function second. It’s best to pair a true Bluetooth speaker, which will function as a slave audio output.
