Hi!

Setting up the chrome cast on a Linsar TV. It’s not coming up when I’m on the volume control section. Am I able to pick a random no name TV. Is it something that NEEDS to be correct?

2nd question is. I want to disconnect all the YouTube access on it. Is that a thing I can do?

Unfortunately, it would be impossible for Google to list absolutely every TV brand/manufacturer. You can use some trial and error by selecting the other manufacturer's listed. Alternatively, try a Google search or see if they have forums to see if someone else may have found one that works for your brand of TV.

In terms of removing YouTube access, do you mean you don't want anyone to be able to use YouTube on your Chromecast?

No problem we sorted out the TV part.

In regard to the YouTube part, yes. It’s for my kids TV and I don’t want them to have any access to YouTube/YouTube kids on the chrome cast

In that case, you're going to want to set up the Chromecast with your account, then use parental controls with a child profile.
