Adding apps for kids not possible

Hi,

I bought my Chromecast with Google TV last week and tried to add a kid's profile.

Unfortunately I am not able to add any apps to that profile - making it useless for the moment.

When trying to add apps, I can only see a rotating circle indicating the Chromecast is losing something, but even after hours it does not come to an end and no apps are displayed.

I hope you can guide me how to solve this issue. Kids profiles was one major reason for me to buy this new Chromecast.

Install all the required apps under your own account. Create the kid account, then go back under your own account and customize the kid account under Accounts & Sign in menu.

Thanks for the hint, but this does not solve my problem.

All necessary apps (YouTube, Zattoo) are installed already.

When I am in my account and want to customize the kid's account, the above described problem occurs.

Have you tried a device reboot? Unplug it from the main power grid for about 5 minutes then plug it back in.

Although I did a reboot and power disconnect already before, this time it worked. Thanks 👍
