Google remote wont work

All of a sudden my Chromecast remote stopped working. I tried changing the batteries amd it still didn't work. Then I tried a factory reset (removing the batteries, waiting five minutes and reinserting the batteries while holding the home button) but cant even get the LEDs to flash. I have also tried unpairing the remote, and then repairing but once again I cant get any of the lights to work on the remote.

Any ideas?

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. If you’re still willing to try, we have a workaround to troubleshoot this:

Remove the batteries and give it a 2 to 3 minute rest.
While the batteries are out, press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds to fully drain any static power left on the chipset/motherboard of the Chromecast Voice remote, then release the button.
Let the remote rest again for 2 to 3 minutes. Take this time to unplug the Chromecast device from power and give it a 1 minute rest before you plug it back in.
Test and observe.
If it persists, you can factory reset the remote one last time and pair it again.

hello, I did the suggested course! now the problem is that I put the batteries in, the LED lights up. and the light pulses slowly it goes off after 1 minute but it happens again and again, what can I do?
