Chromecast w/ GTV not turning on

Using the Chromecast with Google TV remote, it turns on my TV and Soundbar but does not turn on the Chromecast. I have to unplug it and then plug it in. Only then does it turn on. I have to do this almost every day.

I also have to this issue on two TV which have the 4k Chromecast units. Fed up of having to move the TV out to unplug it and plug it back in for it to start working.
