Chromecast déconnexion

Freaking annoying

Chromecast is disconnected from internet randomly.

Internet box is next to it, tried to reset and reboot internet and Chromecast, nothing works.

Any clue?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. A lot of factors can be the cause of this, but for now, let’s isolate the possibility of a network issue. Disconnect it from your home Wi-Fi and connect it to another smartphone’s mobile hotspot. Do it by performing a factory reset, then setting it up using your own phone to connect it to another phone’s mobile hotspot. Observe and let us know how it goes.

Hello Kimy,

Already did it with my phone wifi sharing after a factory reset.

Chromecast is easier connected but still sometimes disconnected by itelf.

Connection stability seems to be a issue 😕

Hello Pozar,

Kindly provide the Cast firmware version of your Chromecast device. Open the Google Home app > Devices tab > Choose your Chromecast device > Settings. At the bottom, you can find the Cast firmware version.
