Chromecast restarting

My chromecast keeps restarting. I’ve tried unplugging it and leaving it unplugged. I’ve tried rebooting it and starting it but that doesn’t seem to work. I don’t know what else to do.. it’s been working perfectly fine until yesterday it just kept restarting.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. I suggest you do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset and setting it up from scratch. If it’s connected to a USB port on your TV as its power source, I suggest you plug it in directly to its own power source. If it is, then try switching to a different power outlet or swapping the power cord if the issue persists. Let us know how it goes.
