Input button not working

The input button on the remote is not working. I bought and installed my Chromecast google tv 4k today. Updated the latest firmware and tried different HDMI ports, nothing worked so far. In the settings when I go to Remotes & Accessories > Set up remote buttons> Add device and I click on TV nothing happens. I am unable to select a brand or anything.
The TV is a Phillips 50PUS7303/12. I hope someone can help me out.

Not all of the buttons on the Chromecast Remote work with all TVs.

Input is one of the tricky one. It works for one of my TVs but not the other.

Unfortunately, all you can to is try a couple of the different options for Phillips TVs in the list and hope one of them works. If not, you'll have to use the input/source button on the remote that came with the TV.

Ah I see, that is unfortunate. I will have to keep the second remote around then. Thanks for the reply.
