Chromecast remote again

Why is this happening to so many of us same old issue remote control I am actually over it I've pulled the batteries and push the home button so many times that does not work for mine I have to pull a batteries out and put it away for a week I cannot access my TV when I pull the remote control back out a few days later for batteries in it will work again but only for 5 minutes how many times do I have to reset it for it to just failed every time this should not be happening I'm over it I wish you're never given my hard earned money for this system no one has given me a good answer or update or a fix for this works for ever has anybody got a permanent fix

Wow I've earned a badge ID rather have a remote silly badge for starting up post and communicating wow I rather have a remote that works

When did this issue start happening?
What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
Are you using IR or HDMI-CEC controls?
Are you using AAA 1.5 V alkaline batteries?
