topic Casting/Mirroring: unable to disable on a Chromebook in Streaming

Hi, please can you help me with completely disabling casting on an Acer Chromebook Spin 513?

Things tried already:

No Setting on the Chromebook itself (advanced or otherwise) will allow me to disable casting permanently.

Installed the Google Home app, but unable to press and hold the tab to delete the device (TV) casting to/from.

Going via chrome://flags I disabled 3 flags (features) which mentioned "cast". This worked for a while, but since the last forced Chromebook updates, the issue returned. Then disabled all (a dozen) features which mention "cast" or "mirror", but that has not worked.

Have obviously been through all settings on the TV itself (basic Toshiba) and there's nothing related I can do there.

Small flat, so can't go out of casting range. Need Wi-Fi on all day to work from home. I have absolutely no need or desire to cast, but I just can't get the Chromebook to stop connecting with the TV and interfering.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

Si
