Thank you for posting.

From the Google TV side please make sure:

Internet Connection: Make sure your internet connection is stable. A weak or unstable connection can cause streaming issues, including problems with captions and subtitles.
App Restart: Try restarting the Third party app. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches.
Device Restart: Consider restarting your device (phone, tablet, computer) as well.

Unfortunately this is out of scope, we don't support Crunchyroll app, please consider reporting the issue with them. They can investigate further and provide more specific guidance if the problem persists.
