dear dave , how are you?

my new wish was/is to connect my chromecast to a internet connection. that's why i bought this device, see the link here under.

1. Chromecast does not recognize it. should I see this possibility under wifi connection?

2. i also read that its possible to configure it via the Google Home app, here is the second...bad luck: this app
can not add chromecast! i reinstalled this app, for nothing.

Thank you so much for sharing your concerns with me, regarding your inconvenience that you are experiencing with your Chromecast. I can provide you with a quick start guide to connect an Ethernet adapter for chromecast.

If this device is incompatible you can get the Official adapter: Take the USB cable and plug it into your Chromecast's micro-USB port. Then, connect the Ethernet cable to the adapter's Ethernet port.

Tip: Make sure your Ethernet cable and router are working properly. The Ethernet adapter provides both power and internet to your Chromecast, so you can ditch the separate power cable.

thank you for this information: I installed all carefully once again. A few days ago this cast received an update, I think this influenced the fact that a connection with ethernet cable was now successful!
