Youtube can't connect to chromecast device

Hi,

Recently i tried to cast youtube to my TV (through the chromecast) but besides the big youtube logo it wont connect, and it says "something went wrong" but it doesn't specify what exactly. Until a few days ago this has never happened.

I tried casting from other devices an Iphone12 and my PC (which normally work just fine) but i get the same thing (first the logo then a screen with "something went wrong"

I've tried disconnecting the chromecast, reinstalling the chromecast- and youtube apps and restarting my router and nothing works.

Other streaming apps work just fine so i am at a loss here.

I had the same problem. A factory reset solved it.
