Chromecast remote lost during a move

Hello,

I lost my chromecast remote during a move, I basically can’t do anything. I tried to reset the chrome cast but now I need the remote to press the « home » bouton and the arrow !
What can I do. I found online that you can use the « google home » app has a remote but I can’t do it. I think it only work if the chromecast is paired with my app first.
Anyone has an idea ?
