TV input button on chromecast remote will not work

Hello,

I've tried all the suggestions to program the TV input button on the Chromecast remote without any success. I'm using a Samsung 60" LCD, Model UN60KS8000. I've tried to add a device, program buttons, reset the remote by removing batteries, etc. Nothing I do will program the TV Input button. Could it be that it's not compatible with my TV? The Samsung LCD is from 2016. the remote also never pairs with the Samsung 8 series yet all the other buttons (other than the input) on the remote work. This I don't understand at all.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting here in the community. I´m sorry that you couldn´t set up the input button of your Chromecast, even though you already reset the remote. Help´s here.
