Why not the same wifi

Hi all,

I just bought Chromecast 4th generation and downloaded iOS app (Google Home) but I did couple of time and still saying "You are currently not on the same Wi-Fi network as your device." I checked more than 10 times which I connect to the same Wi-Fi.

What is the problem?

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Wi-Fi issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know from experience how confusing networking issues can be. What I would check out for now is this article on not being able to establish a Wi-Fi connection to your Chromecast.
