When trying to watch something live , it doesn't give me the casting option. Is this normal? I can however cast from other apps.

Not every app supports casting and some apps don't support it for all their offerings.

For instance, some allow you to cast their library but not their live content.

If all your other apps are working correctly, contact that app's support to find out if there is a problem, if they just don't allow live casting at all, of if they have another level of subscription that does.
