I am watching AppleTv+"Invasion" on my Samsung SmartTV via Chromecast and WiFi.

There are some scenes in non-English that aren't displaying subtitles. For the life if me, I cannot find where to setup subtitles. The Chromecast remote will not let me scroll to the bottom of the screen or anywhere to highlight "cc" for subtitles. This seems to only occur when watching AppleTv.

I bought the latest version of Chromecast specifically to be able to watch AppleTv. I used the verbal command to "turn on subtitles with Appletv" but was told " I can't do that with this app". Is there something wrong with my remote or are there restrictions with AppleTv, non-apple devises and Chromecast?

On Google Chromecast with Google TV

Turn on closed captions

Important: Your caption preferences might not apply to certain apps.

From the Google TV home screen, in the top right, go to the user profile icon and select Settings.
Select System > Accessibility.
Select Captions.
Turn on Display to show captions. Then choose your options.

On Apple TV application:

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Subtitles and Captioning
Enable subtitles and closed captions
During playback, push down on the remote and select the subtitles you want

Note: there are movies with some parts that may not have subtitles

I found the settings in the Apple app. All working great now.
