topic Chromecast kept rebooting in Streaming

My chromecast kept rebooting about every 5 minutes or so. Which was becoming extremely annoying when I would try and watch a movie. After some internet research I discovered it was a faulty power surge box which is where my chromecast was plugged into. I have since replaced the power surge box which just serves as a glorified extension cord for me and haven’t had any issues since. Hope this information helps someone.
